Reiki
Reiki is an accessible hands-on healing technique that enables you to help yourself and others. Therefore Reiki is a gift. It is about giving and receiving. Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese word meaning ‘universal life energy’. In Japanese it is represented by two kanji or pictograms. The first, Rei, may be translated as ‘universal, transcendental spirit, a boundless essence’. The second, Ki, translates as ‘life force energy’. This can be defined as that energy which resides and acts in all matter – animal, vegetable or mineral.
Reiki/Seichem is healing energy. When a Reiki/Seichem practitioner channels this life energy through their hands to the recipient it activates the body’s natural ability to heal itself. The energy goes to where illnesses have their origin and works wherever it is most needed, releasing blocked energies, cleansing the body of toxins and working to create a state of balance. It helps the recipient make lifestyle and attitude changes to promote a happier and healthier life.
